If you are planning to take advantage of the Home Buyer Tax Credit on your purchase of a Lexington, SC Home, you must act soon or it will be gone. The Home Buyer Tax Credit will expire on April 30, 2010 and if you do not have a signed contract by then, you will not be able to take advantage of the Tax Credit. The tax  credit is for both first time home buyers and for repeat buyers. First Time Home Buyers can get up to a $8,000 credit and repeat buyers can get up to $6,500.
