Perhaps pink appeals to you or matches with your paintings. While you may like the color scheme in your home it may be a big turn off for a potential buyer.

Why take the chance? Before showing your house, make sure all the walls are painted a neutral color.

Make sure you attend to any needed repairs, such as, applying WD-40 to noisy hinges. Make sure to have any necessary repairs made to major utility equipment. If any of the kitchen cabinets or counter tops are chipped or look old, they should probably be replaced.

Tiles need to be completely cleaned of grime and dirt. Most often it's a good idea to get rid of old windows with new ones.
