Hello,
My friend is in the Air Force and was forced to relocate to a different state. He was not able to keep his house so he listed it with a real estate company for a short sale. That real estate company was able to find a buyer who was going to lease the property but with the option to buy it within a year. The contract indicated that the tenants (buyers) were to close on or before Sept of 2011 or they will lose their deposit of $3500. well, they could not obtain an approval...

My current property manager was asked to provide my rental history to another property manager, with my permission. My current lease is up in about 80 days so I am looking for a bigger place. I have to give the current property 60 days notice if I am leaving. I put in a rental application for the place I am interested in, he requested my rental history from my current office. I gave my permission to provide the information and they refused until they had a copy of the rental application with...

Hello,
I was trying to register and create an article but it says something about having to be an agent. How would I get Brendan Blumer set up as an agent?
In 2009, Blumer founded Okay.com, where he is currently the Chief Technology Officer. For two years, Blumer and his team of approximately 20 people researched and developed a unique platform, creating a system for Real Estate agents in Hong Kong to more effectively manage every facet of their business. [3] Okay.com uses the latest...

I'm not sure if I'm just having a bad day, or your agent sign-up link isn't easy to see.

Hi,
I am a leasing agent. One of the clients i leased an apartment to, wants to break the lease because the apartment is infested with cockroaches. He also claims that i showed him another apartment on the floor below, he says he never saw the apartment he rented. The landlord sprayed the apartment three times but the client claims the kitchen cabinets are rotten and full of cockroaches. The landlord refused to replace them. If the client breaks the lease, is it legal for the landlord to...

I am in the process of buying the home we rent from my landlord. He had offered to finace the purchase himself with a 7% interest rate, no down payment, and $3000 closing fees. We decided to have bank finance us with a 5.25% rate and our closing cost and down payment will be around $6000. I told the landlord that we have decided to have the bank finance us instead without letting him know about the interest rate and down payment and closing cost. The landlord said that we still will have to...

Hi,
My Mom sold her house and is set to close on April 27th 2010. The buyers requested that we have a new septic dug and we agreed. The lenders would not give the money to the buyers until we dug the septic so we had that done also. We are paying for the septic on the closing of the house.
Well now the lenders have pushed the closing back to May 11th 2010 and my Mom has already rented an apartment and is moving this weekend April 24th. My mom can not make another mortgage payment in May...

I own a home in Florida that is currently being rented.
The house was previously for sale up until June of 2009.
I decided to re-list the property with a new agent. Before the listing
agreement was entered into MLS I advised my agent that my tenant was
interested in purchasing the home and was currently being pre-qualified
for financing. I e-mailed her to confirm this.
My tenant is now ready to make an offer and asked if he had an "exclusive" with
me. My agent did not explain I
