hello, i have a problem. my mom owned a house that was fully paid for that she had before she past in 2001, she was married before she past but it was to a friend of the family for business reasons, so he never lived at the residence, the occupents of the house were me (the oldest) and my younger brother and sister.

since she past away in 2001 i have been the one paying the bills and the property taxes, and he always acknowldged that the house belonged to me my brother and sister, my moms name is actually still on all the paperwork, now hes acting a little strange, and i fear that he might be planning to keep the house for himself, eventhough he is not and has never lived there or contributed anything toward bills, taxes or property upkeep.

my question now is an i fighting a losing battle? is there nothing i can do to stop him or have his name removed from the deed? i have all the past tax recipts with my name on it....
