I have a few questions about remodelling my home before I sell.

First, I have two built-ins I think I should remove; one is a set of wall cabinets and the other is a three station computer area designed for computers and as a child homework area. What is your opinion on removing these two items?

Second, the house has 4 distinct bedrooms, two on each floor of a split-foyer house. The small, upstairs bedroom has an attached deck and bathroom. I would like to know if I should knock a portion of the wall out between the master bedroom and this smaller bedroom and create one large master bedroom with attached nursery/office/sitting area?

I live in Madison county Illinois and the housing market is pretty depressed at this time. I want to perform some quick, low-cost changes that will make this property move quickly and at a good price (of course).

We just refinished the three bathrooms and they look great and by doing much of the work ourselves, we saved a bundle.

Please advise.
